Section 240-25 Part A of the Town Code states, in part, that refuse containers, “shall not be placed at the curb before 6:00 p.m. on the day preceding the collection and shall be removed before 9:00 a.m. on the day following the collection.”
Section 240-25 Part C of the Town Code states, in part, that refuse containers, “shall not be less than 20 gallons nor more than 32 gallons in volume, nor more than 40 pounds in loaded weight,
Recycling at Curbside
Curbside recyclables should not be placed out in plastic bags (plastic trash bags, plastic grocery bags, etc.). Curbside recyclables may be commingled in an approved refuse container, paper bags or cardboard boxes.
Refuse And Waste Not Generated Within Town Limits In order to continue to provide high quality, efficient refuse service to all Town residents at the lowest possible cost, we must continue to be diligent in preventing out of Town Refuse and Waste from being discarded in Town. Out of Town refuse and waste discarded illegally in Town is a costly endeavor. Your continued cooperation and compliance with this problem is greatly appreciated.
The Town has (2) ten-yard dumpsters that can be reserved on a first come, first served basis for larger household projects. The container will be delivered to the residence on Friday and picked up on the following Monday. Please call 410-638-4545 for more details and availability.
