This summer, the Town of Bel Air is making updates to its Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Our current plan was completed in 2013 and while many priorities have been accomplished, we have many more initiatives and some goals not yet fully realized in the existing plan. The new plan will employ many new strategies and provide updated information on the existing walking and cycling infrastructure, along with objectives related to local and regional transit services.
We have been reaching out to Town residents, as well as people who regularly walk, run and/or bike in Bel Air, to help us shape the updated plan. The public's feedback is crucial in helping us prioritize safety improvements and upgrades to infrastructure. We are thankful for those who attended our open house session on June 20, especially those from Harford County's cycling community who ride in Bel Air.
Following the open house, we have created a survey which can be found via this link. Please fill out the survey by July 31st and share your thoughts as we work to ensure the community remains friendly to walkers and cyclists.
