Feb 1—Instrument Petting Zoo with the SSO

Members of the Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra will introduce musical instruments and music-related games and activities to children and their parents to inspire interest in the world of music. Guests will be able to speak with musicians and see instruments like violins, oboes, trumpets, flutes, and more – and in some cases touch, hold, or try them! The musicians will also demonstrate how the instruments sound and how lovely music can be when instruments are played together.

Feb 8—Jazz for People Who are Shorter than Me

Seth and his fellow musicians will demonstrate what makes jazz musicians tick -- improvisation, self-expression, and a whole lotta fun!  Familiar melodies will be "jazzed" up with saxophone, flute, clarinet, piano, and more, including selections from Seth's award-winning childrens' album "Jazz For People Who Are Shorter Than Me."  Attendees will learn to scat sing, carry a beat, improvise their own melodies, and more!  It'll be so much fun, no one will even realize they're learning.

Feb 15—Mayhem Magical Circus

Join professional knucklehead, Gregory May, as he builds his own wacky circus show. Over a dozen audience volunteers join him on stage as he juggles, walks on a rolling globe, spins plates and cowboy ropes, and messes up magic tricks with tons of fun and lots of laughs! It's a wild circus ride for the whole family!"

PARKING--Please park to the right side of the Armory in the free parking lot at 23 N. Main. Please refrain from parking behind the Armory in the Marketplace lot. Parking is also Free on Main street on weekends.
