The Cecil-Harford County chapter of the Maryland Municipal League has an opportunity for two high school seniors - one from each county - to earn a $1,000 scholarship. Interested students have until May 1 to submit their application, along with an essay about the importance of municipal government to their community and on how their local government functions.
Application packages, which also should include a statement about the applicant's goals for their education and career, their school transcripts and two letters of recommendation, can be sent to Adam Hiob of the Chapter's Scholarship Committee. The packet can be delivered by email to ahiob@aberdeenmd.gov or by U.S. Mail to:
