Youth Camps

Annually, The Bel Air Police Department hosts a Youth Camp for kids ages 8-14. Each Camper learns various jobs that Police Officers do on a daily basis. From Traffic Stops to Crime Scene Investigation, each day is full of knowledge, taught by Police Officers and / or Police Explorers. 

There are two camps held and each camp is 5 days. They run from 9:00 to 1:00 and will be held in the Bel Air Armory. Camps fill up fast every year and are first come, first served. There is a $100.00 registration fee that includes a camp t-shirt, a gift, Graduation Certificate and a Graduation Ceremony. 

Registration Opens April 1st and you must pick up and drop off applications in person. Cash or Check is accepted. Checks should be made out to: Town of Bel Air C/O Police Explorers. 

TOPICS: CPR, Searches, Traffic Stops, Crime Scene Investigation, Athletic Events, K-9 Demonstration and Physical Fitness / Self-defense techniques.
