Bel Air Arts & Entertainment District
Artists, businesses, government, and cultural organizations come together in the Bel Air Arts and Entertainment District. As one of 29 designated Arts and Entertainment Districts in Maryland, the 98-acre district covers most of downtown. We have a thriving arts community comprised of many different types of artistic expression. The A&E District boasts concerts, a fabulous art gallery, dance performances, theater for all ages, festivals and memorable holiday and cultural events. The Town of Bel Air is proud to offer a variety of murals and sculptures for the community to enjoy. Our Public Art Tour encourages residents and visitors to view forty-three pieces of public art throughout the Town of Bel Air. With the map as a guide, the Public Art Tour begins with a two-mile, self-guided walk through downtown featuring images and descriptions of twenty-five sculptures and murals. The tour continues with an additional eighteen pieces accessible within a short drive around Bel Air. This map is also a great way to tour our art virtually if you can’t be here in person!
